The Butterfly birth process; Butterfly, had to go through one of the most arduous birth processes. It needs to get out of the cocoon on time. Butterflies start as caterpillars and find themselves in cocoons. Once in a cocoon, the Butterfly is subjected to battles that are, in fact, among the greatest of its life. To get out of the cocoon, the Butterfly must fight and fight until one day it breaks through its walls and becomes a butterfly. As the name suggests, the puppet phase, also called the resting phase, a remarkable transformation, takes place below the surface. The low caterpillar or larva undergoes a metamorphosis to become a beautiful butterfly one day, but something special happens underneath.
During the pupa phase, also known as the resting phase, most tissues and cells that constitute the larva are broken down, and their material is converted into the adult version of the Butterfly. This phase of butterfly life is followed by hatching from the egg, where the main task is consumption. The caterpillars aim to eat as much as possible to stimulate future growth.
Every stage of a butterfly’s life is accompanied by hatching from an egg until the caterpillar has grown four or five times and shed its skin. The life cycle of an adult butterfly is usually one to two weeks long and lasts about one and a half years. The evolution of a company is no different. As an entrepreneur, we go through this excruciating journey every day. As an entrepreneur, you have to think like a Butterfly and plan for the next level. Think about your business and your current life cycle, and after a year or two or more, you look around to refocus and choose a direction.
The key is perseverance, thrift, prudence, and the vision of the Butterfly. The caterpillars can survive in the cocoon by saving energy and displaying the will and persistence to survive, and they emerge from it as magnificent butterflies. When entrepreneurs become self-absorbed after building a cocoon, they can rethink the business, reorient, innovate, iterate, and prepare the company for scaling.
We need to realize that it’s OK to be a caterpillar for the rest of the Chrysalis state. When I bring a new project to the world, I hope it will be a beautiful monarch butterfly. Many of your efforts have turned out to be tiny moths. You recognize the need to let go of attachments and create the world-changing contents that emerge from the chrysalis because nature needs moths and butterflies.

The final and final stage of development is when the Butterfly is ready to emerge from the chrysalis. From this effort, we emerge as the beautiful Butterfly that we are next. We must stop judging our progress and cherish the shape of the Butterfly.
Butterfly’s journey and its process of transformation and building strength. If we take a pair of scissors or a knife and open the cocoon, the Butterfly may be finished but still not strong enough to fly. Only when it moves and strengthens its wings will it be ready to come out, and it will be able to fly. Timing is critical for every single entrepreneur. Only when the Butterfly is ready to build up its strength can it escape. As an entrepreneur, you have to think what is that moment is you are too early, you will lose, and too late, you will lose. Let’s talk about Tesla, and Elon launched the roadster model too early. The company wasn’t ready, but these are the kind of decisions you make every single day. That became his key to success; he could attract early evangelists and fans if I look back. He picked the most challenging battle new auto company requires several decades to become real.
When a butterfly emerges from a chrysalis, it goes through a lot of struggle. Then comes the break, and the chrysalis opens and the Butterfly, like all butterflies, dies in the acid. The Butterfly, with its beautiful wings, if it stays in the cocoon, may never fly. Man is so kind, but he does not understand that restricting the cocoon disturbs the Butterfly’s entire life cycle, and the struggle to get out of the cocoon is necessary for his life. It is a natural process underway, and if man interrupted him, he would die because of his folly. As a curious kid, I use to wait and watched the whole process in my garden. I witnessed the Butterfly struggling to get out of the cocoon—a beautiful but excruciating process. Go with the process, and entrepreneurship is a journey, not a destination. If you don’t love the process, you aren’t ready to change your world.
It is important to note that Butterfly’s story of struggle is a real story, not a fictional anecdote. When he breaks the cocoon, he robs butterflies of the ability to fight and develop the strength to survive. He breaks her and ends the fight, making it easier for her to return.
Growing up in India, I developed a love and respect for butterflies. When I kind of started breeding butterflies, I had no idea how it would turn out. You could say that one day after I discovered my first caterpillar, I would begin a butterfly business (laughs). Not exactly! But I learned terrific lessons from butterflies. I almost got wiped three times in my life, and I came back stronger and better every time. I tell my kids that I have risen from my ashes thrice, and your dad is not the same person they knew. Every day is new possibilities and new opportunities, just like butterflies’ birth process. Was I in cocoon thrice, or were these three stages of the birth of an entrepreneur? I will let you decide for yourselves.

Let’s talk about my favorite company Tesla and its visionary leader, Elon Musk!
Tesla is an electric vehicle and clean energy company based in Palo Alto, California. Its current products include electric cars, batteries, energy storage, solar panels, solar roofing tiles, and other related products and services. Even they dabble in bitcoins.

The US electric car market includes established automakers such as Ford (F), Chevrolet, and GM. However, one company that stands out from the mix of automakers is Tesla Motors (TSLA). The Tesla Motors (TSLA) came under the media spotlight in 2013 when Tesla CEO Elon Musk launched their flagship Model S. The move was a hit with car buyers and catapulted the company in the spotlight as one of the few successful independent automakers and pioneers in the electric car market. Contrary to popular belief, Tesla has not been an overnight success and is no longer a startup but a pioneer in the electric car market. Elon Musk contributed $30 million to Tesla Motor Car Company in 2004, a company devoted to building the first electric car. He is currently co-founder and CEO of the company. Question for our readers; how do you make an almost a trillion $ company with 30 million and passion. Just like the Butterfly, you conserve and optimize resources, but you never lose hope. As an entrepreneur, you make such life and death decisions on an everyday basis. You believe that there is a rainbow, in the end, keeps you driving. I had a conversation with Stephen Moore, CEO of Walker Digital Table Games, about his journey. He talked about perseverance. It applies to even people who climb Mount Everest or win Olympic medals or elementary school students. We are all butterflies; we don’t know it.
Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, co-founders of Tesla, sat down with CNBC to discuss what it was like to build and deliver the first Tesla Roadster, what it took to convince the world that electric cars were more appealing than luxury sports cars and how they brought Elon Musk on board.
The vehicle was never released for public purchase but is considered a great success from a technical point of view. In 2014, Tesla launched the Model S, a cheaper model that set a world motor record in 2017 for accelerating from 0-60 miles per hour in 2.28 seconds. Tesla’s design showed that electric cars could have the same or better performance as gasoline-powered sports cars from brands such as Porsche and Lamborghini.
At the end of 2007, Eberhard stepped down as CEO and President of Technology and joined the company’s advisory board. Shortly afterward, in October 2008, Elon Musk took over as CEO of Tesla, and the company fired 25% of its employees. Musk sent a Tesla Roadster into space in 2018. In 2008, it was announced that Eberhard would be leaving the company, although he remained a shareholder. Musk became Tesla’s chief product architect in 2008, a position he has held ever since. Tarpenne, vice president of electrical engineering, oversaw the development of the electronics and software systems for the Roadster, left the company in 2008.
The company’s investors included friends and family and a litany of VC companies, including Valor Equity Partners. After a meeting and pitch by Mr. Tarpenne, Mr. Musk came on board as Tesla’s chairman and played a crucial role in raising money in tough times. Tesla Motors was founded in July 2003 and is the company name, a tribute to the inventor and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla. Elon Musk, who initially contributed most of the funding, has been CEO since 2008. Musk said the company would help accelerate the transition to sustainable energy transportation from electric vehicles and solar.
Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) ( Serbian-American engineer and physicist Nikola Tesla ) made dozens of breakthroughs in producing and transmitting electrical energy. He invented the first alternating current motor and developed generations of transmission technologies. Although famous and respected, unlike his early employer and chief rival Thomas Edison, he could never convert his extensive inventions into long-term financial success. Is financial success the only criteria of success? If that was the case, Elon had enough to live a comfortable life and drive crazy cars. He chooses to build the fastest car on earth.
Before the Model S and Model X launch, the company developed and produced parts for electric cars based on the positive response to the test market reported by General Motors (GM) on an earlier experiment with electric cars, the EV1. After both models hit the market, Tesla stopped production of the Roadster to focus on its new line of sedans. An entrepreneur needs to pivot as required for the growth of the company. Sometimes you kill your most favorite initiative for the future of the company,

Tesla launched the Model 3 in 2016 in line with the company’s master plan. The Model 3 is a lower-cost, higher-volume electric vehicle that went into production in 2017. At its Gigafactory in Nevada, Tesla manufactures the batteries that power its devices, considered crucial to its entire business model. In 2015, the company announced a new range of solar energy products designed to provide households and businesses with rechargeable batteries. In 2017, Tesla changed its name from Tesla Motors to Tesla Inc. to show the new breadth of its products. The Butterfly must be just getting out of the cocoon or its many lives.
